Bristol

Contractor accommodation in Bristol covers the city from Brentry to Whitchurch, and the largest house sleeps 12. Temple Meads, where the station's eastern entrance opened on 7 September 2026, is about 1 mile by road from the houses in Bedminster and Windmill Hill.

North Bristol

The Filton houses are about 1 mile by road from Airbus, Rolls-Royce, MOD Abbey Wood and the Brabazon site, where the Aviva Arena is under construction. Contractor accommodation in north Bristol is mainly three- and four-bedroom houses in Filton, Patchway and Little Stoke, sleeping 6 to 8, with free parking.

Bath

Contractor accommodation in Bath is one house in Saltford, on the A4 between Bath and Bristol: The Salt Room, one bedroom, sleeps 4, street and free parking. The Royal United Hospital, where an urgent treatment centre is due to open in late December 2026, is about 4 miles by road.

Burnham-on-Sea

Contractor accommodation in Burnham-on-Sea is a seven-bedroom house that sleeps 12, with free parking, taken whole or by the room. Dunball at M5 junction 23, where Hinkley Point C workers board the buses to site, is about 8 miles by road.

Newport

Contractor accommodation in Newport is mostly four- and five-bedroom houses that sleep 10 to 13. The Pillgwenlly houses are about 1 mile by road from the Royal Gwent Hospital and the Port of Newport, and about 4 from Imperial Park, where Microsoft said in May 2026 that its data centre was nearing completion.

Cardiff

Contractor accommodation in Cardiff is one apartment in Cardiff Bay, The Wharf: two bedrooms, sleeps 4, no parking listed. The new Cardiff Arena at Atlantic Wharf, under construction since July 2025, and Cardiff Central station are each about 1 mile by road.

Chepstow

Contractor accommodation in Chepstow is three apartments in the town centre, sleeping 2 to 4, all with free parking. Chepstow is at junction 2 of the M48, at the Welsh end of the Severn Bridge. The Oldbury nuclear site, which is being decommissioned, is about 13 miles by road.

Ebbw Vale

Contractor accommodation in Ebbw Vale is Clover House: three bedrooms, sleeps 8, no parking listed. Rassau Industrial Estate is about 4 miles by road, and Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil, where a £300 million refurbishment is expected to run to 2028, about 10.

Large group accommodation for crews of 10 or more

No house sleeps more than 13. If your crew is bigger than that, you need two houses in the same area, and three areas have them.

• Newport: Deja Two and CapeHaus, 4 bedrooms each, sleep 13. A five-bedroom house sleeps 12. SoulHaus, 4 bedrooms, sleeps 11. CapeHaus lists street and free parking, the other three none.

• Bristol: Code 4 in Easton, 4 bedrooms, sleeps 12, street and free parking. Near St George, a six-bedroom flat that sleeps 11 and a five-bedroom flat that sleeps 9 are on two floors of one building, with street and free parking.

• North Bristol: BudeHaus, 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8, and Orchid 2, 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6, both in Filton with free parking.

Each sleeps figure is the listed maximum, and at most of the larger houses it's more than the number of beds, so a bed each means a smaller crew.

What's included in a contractor stay

A bed each, parking where the property has it, fast wifi, a full kitchen and a washing machine, with self check in for early starts and late finishes.

Van parking and clean air zones

No house promises space for a van, so vans are asked about at enquiry. Bristol and Bath each charge a van that doesn't meet the emissions standard £9 a day inside their clean air zones. Filton and Patchway are outside Bristol's zone, there's no zone around Burnham-on-Sea, and none of the zones on the government's list is in Wales.

Weekly and monthly rates, one invoice per stay and one contact from enquiry to checkout. Stays over 28 nights are quoted at the monthly rate, the lowest we offer. Company bookings can go on account with a purchase order, asked for at enquiry on the accommodation enquiry form.

Company stays that aren't site crews come under corporate accommodation. For insurance accommodation, we work with adjusters and invoice on the claim.

Accommodation for contractors: questions from crew bookers

Is there contractor accommodation near Hinkley Point C?

The nearest house we run is in Burnham-on-Sea, about 21 miles by road from the Hinkley Point C site. Nearly all of the project's workers, up to 14,000 a day, are bussed in from park and ride sites, and the one at M5 junction 23 is about 8 miles by road from the house. Is there contractor accommodation in South Wales?

Yes, in four places: Newport, Cardiff Bay, Chepstow and Ebbw Vale. The Newport houses are the largest, sleeping up to 13.

Can a van use the M48 Severn Bridge?

Yes, if it's under 7.5 tonnes. Lorries over that weight are barred from the M48 Severn Bridge until the end of January 2027 and take the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge. Neither crossing has a toll.

Do you have contractor houses outside Bristol, Somerset and South Wales?

No. Every house we run is in Bristol, north Bristol, Saltford, Burnham-on-Sea, Newport, Cardiff, Chepstow or Ebbw Vale.
