Temple Quarter and Temple Meads

Temple Quarter is a 135-hectare regeneration around Temple Meads and St Philip's Marsh. The station's eastern entrance and the University of Bristol's first campus building opened on 7 September 2026, and a northern entrance, a southern gateway and a multi-storey car park are still to come. Our Bedminster and Windmill Hill house is about 1 mile by road from the station. From St George, St Pauls, Brislington and Hotwells it's about 2, and from Easton and Eastville about 3.

Avonmouth

Wessex Water is extending its Avonmouth water recycling centre, a job of more than £100 million that started in January 2024 and is expected to take five years. By road the works are about 5 miles from our Brentry house and about 6 from Hotwells and from the house by Southmead Hospital.

The hospitals

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, formed on 1 July 2026, has 13 hospital sites. Our house by Southmead Hospital is less than a mile from it by road. Bristol Royal Infirmary is about 2 miles from St Pauls, St George, Hotwells and Bedminster, and South Bristol Community Hospital about 2 from the Bishopsworth apartments and the Whitchurch house.

South Bristol and the airport

Hengrove Park will be 1,435 homes on the former Whitchurch airfield, and Phase One started in July 2026. Our Whitchurch house is about 2 miles by road from it, and about 1 from The Bottle Yard Studios, which run 11 stages. At Ashton Gate, about 1 mile from Hotwells, demolition for the Sporting Quarter was under way in July 2026. Bristol Airport's terminal extensions are under construction, about 6 miles from the Bishopsworth apartments.

What every contractor stay includes

A bed each, parking where the property has it, fast wifi, a full kitchen and a washing machine, with self check in for early starts and late finishes. The sleeps figures above are each listing's maximum, and most of the listings show fewer beds than that, so for a crew that wants a bed each the bed layout is confirmed against the headcount at enquiry.

Van parking, the Clean Air Zone and getting to site

Bristol's Clean Air Zone charges vehicles that don't meet the standard: £9 a day for a van under 3.5 tonnes and £100 a day for a heavy goods vehicle over 3.5 tonnes. As a guide, Euro 6 diesel and Euro 4, 5 and 6 petrol aren't charged. The A4 Portway, the way in from M5 junction 18 for south Bristol, is inside the zone, and so is part of Hotwells. Our homes in St Pauls, Easton, Eastville, Brislington, Bishopsworth, Whitchurch and Brentry are outside it. So are the flats near St George, the Bedminster and Windmill Hill house and the house by Southmead Hospital.

Our Hotwells homes are in a residents' parking scheme that runs Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm, and the St Pauls house in one that runs Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The rest of the areas named above are outside every scheme. Zone and scheme were checked by postcode against the council's map, not house by house. Vans aren't promised at any house, and are asked about at enquiry.

Not in Avonmouth itself. Our Brentry house and our Hotwells homes are each about 7 miles by road from the Avonmouth industrial area.

How does a firm pay the Clean Air Zone charge for several vans?

The council offers a business account for several vehicles. The charge runs midnight to midnight and can be paid up to six days after travel.

How does parking work in Hotwells and St Pauls?

Without a permit, a driver can park free for up to half an hour with a pay and display ticket, or pay for up to three hours. The council's trader permit, open to listed trades such as building, electrical and plumbing, is valid in both areas.
