Where Burnham-on-Sea sits

Hinkley Point C is on the coast west of Bridgwater. Burnham-on-Sea is north of the site, up the coast past Bridgwater, and the morning drive runs against the Bridgwater traffic rather than through it.

The town has a high street, supermarkets, a beach and enough pubs and takeaways that a crew isn't cooking every night unless they want to.

What the houses are

AltoLuxo runs a set of houses and rooms on College Street in the centre of Burnham-on-Sea.

The six bed house takes a full team with a bed each. The one bed houses and rooms suit the engineer or supervisor who wants their own front door. Every property has fast wifi, a full kitchen and a washing machine, and each listing says exactly where the parking is.

Linen is changed weekly on longer stays, and cleaning is handled by us between crews.
