Accommodation near Southmead Hospital, Bristol

Hospital accommodation is usually booked the way hotels are booked: by the night, near the centre, with nowhere to park. Southmead is in the north of Bristol, six miles from the centre, and the streets around it are permit parking. The houses that actually work for a placement are in Filton, Brentry and Patchway, and they're built for people who work shifts.
Where the houses are
Brentry. A three bed house on Knole Lane with a garden and parking, the closest of the set to the Southmead main entrance. Near Cribbs Causeway and the M5.
Filton. Two houses on Bude Road, three and four beds, a short drive to Southmead and walkable to the Filton shops. Good for a team of locums or a family placement.
Patchway. Two four bed houses on Catbrain Hill, with parking and a quick run to the M5 and the hospital.
Little Stoke. A three bed house on Orion Drive with parking, for staff also covering the Bristol Royal Infirmary via the M32.
What a placement stay gets
A bed each, a proper kitchen, a washing machine and dryer, fast wifi and parking. Self check in for late arrivals and early shifts. Weekly linen and a mid-stay clean on stays over a month. One contact for anything that goes wrong, day or night.
Rates for NHS and healthcare staff
Placements are quoted by the week or the month, and the monthly rate is lowest. Trusts and agencies can book with a purchase order; ask when you enquire.
Booking
Send the dates, the number of people and the hospital. We come back the same working day with the houses that fit and a rate for the whole stay. Extensions roll where the calendar allows.
What we can't do: we don't have properties inside walking distance of Southmead. Everything here is a short drive, and we say the drive time on every listing.
